Our client are a one of the largest independent Estate Agents in the Essex area. They have been providing a professional and highly regarded service to their customers for 50 years. Due to continued growth they are seeking a highly professional and dedicated individual to fulfil the role of Property Manager.
Working within this very busy department the successful candidates will be directly responsible for a portfolio of rental properties. Primarily dealing with queries from landlords and tenants both electronically and by telephone (no face to face contact). Queries will mainly be maintenance based so our Property Managers will be arranging for contractors to visit the properties, dealing with quotations and pro-actively making sure that related repairs are completed properly. Therefore candidates must have previous experience in residential lettings but ideally within property management itself.
The role is 100% office based and strong communication skills, both written and oral will be essential. Working hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm plus occasional Saturdays 9.00am to 5.00pm (where Saturdays are worked then a day off in lieu will be taken during the week).
