Our client is a long-standing and well-established financial planning firm based in Walton-on-Thames, that offers a wide range of financial services to businesses and individuals.

Initially, the role will primarily be for mortgages (including Equity Release) and protection, administration and paraplanning. However, they're an expanding business and like to support progression where they can and this could potentially be a team management role or progression to adviser over a 2 year period.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily liaison with lenders and providers to obtain updates on applicant status and pro-actively progress mortgage, equity release and protection applications through to completion and providing the mortgage advisers with clear and concise updates
  • Speaking to clients with updates and information requests
  • Writing reports (suitability letters) and sending to clients
  • Submitting applications to lenders, accurately and efficiently
  • Updating the internal back office system (Intelligent Office) and ensuring new plans are added accurately

The ideal candidate should have

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in mortgages and/or financial services in an administrative capacity
  • A good knowledge of mortgages
  • A confident and professional communication manner, both written and verbally
  • Some regulated qualifications, although not essential
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a small team
