Trainee Financial Advisor
The purpose of the role is to act as a Trainee Financial Advisor within the business and to give advice on all aspects of financial planning, including pensions, investments and protection.
Duties and responsibilities
Your main duties will include (but not be limited to):
Your primary responsibilities will be giving advice on all aspects of financial planning, including pensions, investments and protection. Unlike most trainee opportunities, you will jump start your career giving advise from day one with the support of your mentor.
You will build your relationship with your clients whilst supplying them with your financial knowledge to allow them to make the right choice for their finances. As part of the trainee advisor team your job will be to develop your expertise and awareness of the financial service with support from the inhouse training team.

A significant, award-winning wealth management firm who are expanding their Trainee Financial Advice team based in Nottingham. With over 300 offices throughout UK our client has created a programme to train new advisors by the side of an experienced member of staff.
What does the successful candidate look like?
This role is for an aspiring financial advisor and will be supported in all career progression with a clear framework set out to achieve your goals and ambitions. Financial support will be provided towards all relevant industry qualifications.
The successful candidate will need to have the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent and have at least some financial services experience and knowledge of the industry, products, and regulations. A high-quality attention to detail and skills in communication will be essential with a can-do attitude towards all tasks!
Salary & Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £30,000 to £40,000 and a salary increase of up to £5,000 once CAS Status is achieved. You will also be provided with a competitive bonus structure which will be led by KPI’s and a client bank to work with.
Location: Nottingham
Experience (Essential): at least 18 months Financial Services experience
Qualifications (Essential) A Diploma (DipPFS, level 4) or equivalent
