Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic IFA Administrator to join an IFA practice in their Chesham office, on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on administration role that requires good personal and organisational skills, a proactive approach and can do attitude.

Duties & Responsibilities

Providing administration support for the Financial Advisers:

  • Answering the telephone;
  • Opening, logging and scanning the post;
  • Greeting clients;
  • Undertaking client valuations and associated fund performance research;
  • Liaising with providers by telephone/correspondence in relation to new and existing business;
  • Processing new business (online and by post) and monitoring applications;
  • Processing amendments to existing plans e.g. fund switches;
  • Update back office systems;
  • New business illustrations and research;
  • Processing letters of authority and obtaining full information on clients' plans;
  • Scanning client files;
  • General correspondence.

Compliance activities:

  • Adherence to the Firms compliance processes and procedures;
  • Working with the Firms Compliance Officer and Compliance consultants to ensure the Firms activities are compliant.

  • Experience building relationships with business peers;
  • Always acting in a professional manner and with absolute discretion;
  • Results oriented team player.
