We are seeking a motivated, switched on individual to join our friendly and committed Servicing Department. We are a fast-growing and exciting business that needs a Loan Servicing Specialist to assist in all aspects of the servicing of our loans, from completion to redemption or recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of service when liaising with borrowers by telephone, email and letter
  • Monitor loan payments and compliance of terms through the life of the loan
  • Monitor borrower compliance with loans (including interest payments)
  • Regular interaction with solicitors
  • Ensure that all litigation or recovery matters are handled appropriately
  • Allocate payments and reconciling the daily banking
  • Deal with High Net Worth (HNW) clients
  • Produce and work weekly management reports
  • Add value to a developing department
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality is vital in all aspects of this role, especially when dealing with large loan amounts

About You:

  • Articulate with a good level of communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Highly numerical
  • Confident and a self-starter
  • Capable and experienced dealing with high volume workflow
  • Good understanding of how mortgage lending works
  • Understanding of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
  • Customer Service, Primary Servicing, Special Servicing or Collections experience gained in a mortgage or other lending environment essential
  • Working knowledge of office systems including Excel and Word
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or above
  • CeMap qualified preferred but not essential
