Mortgage/Secured Loan Processor

Description, duties, responsibilities

We're looking for a Mortgage/Secured Loan Processor to join our friendly team based in modern offices in Gadbork Park, Northwich. Hours of work are 9-5 Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch (35 hours per week).

The role of the Mortgage Processing Executive is to firstly source appropriate mortgages for cases handed to them by Field Sales Advisors and secondly to co-ordinate the processing of the mortgage from start to finish whilst ensuring that all internal and regulatory requirements are adhered to. 

The Mortgage Processing Executive is required to liaise extensively between the customer service team, sales team, mortgage lenders, client, and solicitor to ensure the mortgage process runs smoothly.

The successful candidate will be expected to be able to process applications in a timely manner, maintaining quality standards and reducing errors through a high level of processing accuracy.

The role is accompanied by a commission scheme which comes into effect after qualifying period.

Personality requirements and skills

You'll ideally be able to demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas;

• Mortgage and/or secured loan processing/underwriting.
• Working knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and mortgage/secured loan lending procedures.
• CeMap qualified
